Extra Credit Paper Topics: Write a paper on any
area of Psychology you are interested in or you can describe a Psychology
experiment you participated in. Tell all
you understand about the experiment, what they were looking at, did you think it
could be improved? Compare two experiments. Which is the better experiment
in your opinion? Defend your statements. Etc.
Do not plagiarize! Avoid this by using
quotation marks and adding the name of the author or the web address at the end
of the paper.
For a starting point Use On-Line links http://www.ariadnedesign.com/mccc/psych101/links.html
Presentations work in pairs on a topic fitting in with one of the chapters we
will cover. I will supply you with a
topic if need be.. E-mail sullivah@mccc.edu.
Students Diagnosed
with a Disability
If you are diagnosed
with a disability, please make an appointment to meet with me. All
students with the necessary supporting documentation will be provided
appropriate accommodations as determined by the Student Disability Services
Office.
It is entirely your
responsibility to inform me of your diagnosis at the beginning of the
semester. You will only receive accommodations once you identify
yourself. Previously recorded grades will not be changed.
Class
Schedule
This is a very rough
guideline of where we will be at any given point in the semester. Please
use this to set your reading schedule, and we will change from week to week as
necessary (i.e. if we need more time for a given chapter it may spill into the
next week).
